Class of 1881, M.S. Cornell University in 1891, Professor Wing was editor of The Nebraska Farmer prior to serving at Cornell University from 1888-1928. He first served as deputy director and secretary of the Experiment Station as well as Professor of Animal Husbandry. In 1934, through the efforts of a group of his former students, he was recognized for his extensive work with Guernsey and Holstein breeds by the naming of the New York State Fair coliseum after him.
